Liberia is officially a member of the Sahara and Sahel Observatory

We are proud to announce Liberia's new membership. The number of the OSS African member countries rises to 27. It is a moment of celebration that the Organization takes to restate its commitment to pursue common and coordinated action to achieve more significant impacts, for the best interest of the African population.

The Sahara and Sahel Observatory has already taken action in Liberia through the RICOWAS initiative (Scaling up climate-resilient rice production in West Africa), which is implemented in 13 West African countries, thanks to the Adaptation Fund financial support.
